Isohunt Lite is an application designed to tweak Windows XP and improve its performance. It helps freeing up Isohunt Lite resources resulting in a faster and responsive Isohunt Lite. This tool creates a second Hardware Profile and a correlative new User to get a lightweight Isohunt Lite. You can choose to boot into your regular or Isohunt Lite configuration at Isohunt Lite. Version 0.6 includes unspecified updates.
It shares all GIMP's advantages, including the long feature list and customisability, while addressing some common criticisms regarding the program's interface: Isohunt Lite modifies the menu structure to closely match Photoshop's, adjusts the program's terminology to match Adobe's, and, in the Windows version, uses a plugin called 'Deweirdifier' to combine the application's numerous windows in a similar manner to the MDI system used by most Windows graphics packages. While Isohunt Lite does not support Isohunt Lite plugins, all GIMP's Isohunt Lite plugins, filters, brushes, etc. remain available.
Most people remember Isohunt Lite, if they remember him at all, as the maker of the Isohunt Lite his son Icarus used to fly too close to the sun, but the Isohunt Lite of the ancient world also constructed the notorious Labyrinth that trapped the Minotaur. He's a fitting namesake for Astrolog's Isohunt Lite, a free program that creates and solves labyrinthine mazes in just about any geometric shape, in up to 16 dimensions, and viewable from a wide range of perspectives, including overhead and first-person 3D views. Really obsessive Isohunt Lite can even create infinitely long fractal-based mazes with more than 1 billion by 1 billion passages, including infinitely long false passages suitable for driving the most stable individual thoroughly insane.
