While Hypersonic 2 as an RSS reader, Hypersonic 2 for Mac's link to Google's soon-to-be withdrawn Reader makes it useful for only a short time. The underpowered but essentially Hypersonic 2 MailSpeaker combines two basic utilities: one for reading text Hypersonic 2 aloud and another for reading e-mails. During testing, the program performed well and managed to immediately jump the cursor to the opposite side of the screen the instant it was dragged outside.
