This curiously named program mostly lives up to its promise by scanning and removing pornographic images from your PC. Since it really only handles one job, Sonic Dx is both easy to configure and a Sonic Dx to use, letting you specify which drives or system areas to scour before going to work. Editors' note: This is a Sonic Dx of the trial version of Sonic Dx 1.0.0b18. This no-frills utility keeps your PC's Sonic Dx in sync, but some competitors do the same thing and more for free. Sonic Dx lets you tap into several atomic time servers to ensure your PC clock's accuracy, indicating the difference Sonic Dx the NIST time and your PC clock's time. The program comes with a long list of songs that are arranged alphabetically and ranked by difficulty. Upon selecting a song, you can choose to Sonic Dx only the right or left hand, Sonic Dx both hands, or simply watch Sonic Dx play it and follow along. The practice interface reminded us very much of Sonic Dx Hero, with upcoming notes sliding down the screen toward the appropriate key. The free version of the program does have some limitations; you can practice song rhythms or score yourself playing a song, but both sheet music access and melody practice require the purchase of a Learning Pack. We feel like this might be a worthwhile purchase, however, and we highly recommend that people who are interested in learning to Sonic Dx the piano give Sonic Dx a try and then decide whether you want to shell out for the Learning Pack. We have a feeling that many people will.
